let the cost price of tv be ' x '

selling price of tv = Rs 16560

according to question,

x + 15% of x = 16560

x + 15/100 ×x =16560

x + 0.15x = 16560=>1.15x = 16560

x=16560/1.15 => x=14400

x=cost price = 14400
since,no discount is offered ,
then ,
market price = selling price = 16560

profit= selling price - cost price

profit= 16560 - 14400 = Rs 2160

profit % = profit/ cost price × 100

=2160/ 14400 × 100

= 2160 / 144 = 15%

therefore, if no discount was offered then the profit of shopkeeper = 15%
