Profit percent = 10%
Cost Price [C.P] of the article = Rs. 1960
Profit = [Profit% ÷ 100] × CP
=10/100 × 1960
(The zeroes are canceled, leaving) : = 1/1 × 196
Profit = Rs. 196
S.P = C.P + Profit
=1960 + 196
=2156
∴ The shopkeeper sold the article at Rs. 2156
