₹324 will be GST ,

Given :  . A shopkeeper sells an article for Rs. 1800  with GST = 18 %

price of the article is reduced so that  only Rs. 1534 is paid including GST

To Find : Reduction

Solution:

Price = 1800

Reduction = x  Rs

Price After reduction = (1800 - x) Rs

GST = (18/100)(1800 - x)  Rs

Amount including GST = (1800 - x) +  (18/100)(1800 - x)

= 1.18 (1800 - x)

Equate with Rs 1534

=> 1.18 (1800 - x) = 1534

=> 1800 - x  = 1300

=> x = 500

Shopkeeper will reduce Rs 500   ( before GST )
