A shopkeeper sells mangoes in two types of boxes, one small and one large. Find the number of mangoes
in each small box if the number of mangoes in a large box is 120 and a large box contains as many as
5 small boxes plus 10 loose mangoes.​

No. of mangoes in large box is

5 times mangoes in small box plus 10

No. of mangoes in large box

= 5n + 10

Also,

No. of mangoes in large box = 120

= 5n + 10 = 120

= n = 110 / 5 = 22

Thus each small box contains 22 mangoes
