Answer:

(a)Loss = ₹5

Step-by-step explanation:

(a)

A/Q

Shopkeeper sells 7m of red fabric at loss of ₹5 each meter

therefore, Total loss =7*5= ₹35

He sells 5m white fabric at profit of ₹6 each meter

Therefore, Total profit =5*6=₹30

Since, Total profit is less then Total loss

Loss = total loss -total profit

= 35-30.

= ₹5

(b)

Shopkeeper sells 30m of white fabric at profit of ₹6 each meter.

profit = 30*6

= 180

Total profit of that day = ₹60

Loss = Profit -total profit

= 180-60

= ₹120

Loss by selling 1m of red fabric =₹5

Loss by selling Xm of red fabric =₹120

Length of red fabric sold= 120/5

= 24m
