Step-by-step explanation:

Let the cost of 1 gm sugar be Rs.1

C.P of 1 kg sugar = Rs.1000

C.P of 950 gm sugar = Rs.950

S.P of 950 gm sugar = Rs.1000

Hence, profit = S.P - C.P = Rs.50

Profit% = (50/950 × 100)% = 100/19% = 5 whole 5/19%
