Square tilli patti = 19cm
Area is side ×side
19 ×19
=361cm sq.
=361×25=₹9025

Circular tilli patti of diameter 21cm =10.5cm
Area of circle=πr sq.
=22/7×10.5×10.5
₹ 346.5
Circular tilli patti is better

Answer:

circular till Patti is better

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of square till patti of side 19 cm=361 cm square

Area of a circular patti of diameter 21 cm=22/7*21*21/4=33*21/2=346.5 cm square;

So, from the shopkeeper’s perspective, selling a circular patti at cost 25, is a better deal here, since its area is less than the square patti.
