A shopkeeper sold 3/4 of the cloths and 350 m of cloth was left. How much cloths did he have in the beginning?

the shopkeeper had 1400 m of cloth in the beginning.

since 3/4 of the cloth was sold and the remaining length of the cloth was 350 m, 1/4=350 m now to find 4/4 we have to multiply=350 m*4=1400 m
