SP= ₹240

Profit percent = 12%

so, 12/100×240

=28.8

Therefore, the actual profit is ₹28.8 .

 \huge \bold{Answer:}

Formula used:

 \bold{C.P= \frac{S.P×100}{100 + p} }

Solution:

Given,

S.P= Rs.240

Profit= 12%

Now,

 =  >  \bold{C.P= \frac{240 \times 100}{100 + 12} }

 =  >  \bold{C.P= \frac{240 \times 100}{112} }

 =  >  \bold{C.P= \frac{24000}{112 } }

 =  >  \bold{C.P= \frac{1500}{7} }

Now,

Profit= S.P-C.P

 \bold{240 -  \frac{1500}{7} }

 =  \bold{ \frac{1680 - 1500}{7 }}

 =  \bold{ \frac{180}{7} }

 =  \bold{25.71}

Therefore, The answer is option number(b) i.e., 25.71
