Let the Cp be Rs x .
Sp = Rs ( x - 8% of x ) = Rs( x - 2x/25 ) = Rs 23x/25 .
So , 23x/25 = 828
or, x =( 828 ×25 )÷23
or , x = 900
Cp = Rs 900
Since Rs 1200 is greater than Rs 900
So, Gain = Rs ( 1200-900) = Rs 300.

or,x=828×100/92
