S.P of table lamp= ₹495
Gain percentage on first lamp= 10%
Loss percentage on second lamp=10%
C.P of first lamp= S.P×100/100+P%
=495×100/100+10%
=495×100/110
=495×10/11
=45×10
=₹450
C.P of second lamp= S.P×100/100-L%
=495×100/100-10%
=495×100/90
=495×10/9
=55×10
=₹550
Total SP of both lamp= 495×2
=₹990
Total CP of both lamp=CP of first lamp+CP of
second lamp
= 550+990
= ₹1540
Loss= CP-SP
=1540-990
=₹350
Loss%= Loss×100/CP
=350×100/1540
=350×10/154
=22.7%
