A shopkeeper wants to cut two clothes of length 40 m and 60 m into pieces
of equal length so that no piece should be left at the end. Find the greatest
length of piece that can be cut. How many pieces does he get?​

We will find the HCF of 40 and 60.

The HCF will be 20m.

So, the greatest length of the piece that can be cut is 20m.

He'll get 5 pieces as 20 ÷ (40 + 60) =5
