Given:

  • Cost Price = ₹ 6000

  • Selling Price = ₹ 6800

Solution:

Let the Profit of the transaction be x

 \\ \bigstar{\pink{\boxed{\underline{\sf{ Profit_\% = \dfrac{Profit}{Cost \ Price _{(cp)} } \times 100}}}}} \\

Where as

Profit = Selling Price - Cost Price

 \implies Profit = ₹ 6800 - ₹ 6000

 \implies Profit = ₹ 800

According to Question,

Putting values,

 \\ \colon\implies{\tt{ x = \dfrac{8 \cancel{00} }{60 \cancel{00} } \times 100 }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\tt{ x = \dfrac{8}{6 \cancel{0} } \times 10 \cancel{0} }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\tt{ x = \dfrac{ 8 \times 10 }{6} }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\tt{ x = \dfrac{ \cancel{80} }{ \cancel{6} } }} \\ \\ \\ \colon\implies{\tt{ x = 13.3 \ \%}} \\

Hence,

  • Shopkeeper Made 13.3% in transaction.
