in this there is always loss occurs
loss = (x/10)^2
whr x = % value
loss=(10/10)^2= 1% loss
loss = (x/10)^2
whr x = % value
loss=(10/10)^2= 1% loss

Let assume cost price =₹100
Shopkeeper marked 10% more
So
MRP=110 <= (10% of 100=10 =cp+10)
Now he allow discount of 10%
So 10% of 110=11
Sp=MRP- Discount
Sp=110-11=₹99
Cp>sp=> loss
Loss=cp-sp
=100-99=₹1
Loss%=loss/cp x100
=1/100 x100
=1%
