A shopskeeper sales big, medium and small sized chairs in Rs 650,500,400. ratio of total chairs sold is 8:13:4. what will be average cost of a chair?

As per the question,

Price of Big chairs=650.
Medium chairs=500.
Small chairs=400.

Let the number of big chairs,medium chairs and small chairs be 8k ,13k and 4k respectively.
So total number of chair= 8k+13k+4k=25k.
Total Price of big chairs=650*8k=5200k.
Total Price of medium chairs=500*13k=6500k.
Total price of small chairs=400*4k it=1600k.

Total price= 5200k+6500k+1600k=13300k.

So average price of a chair= 13300k/25k.
= 532Rs.
