a short easy story on might is right
Answers
It was a hot summer day. A wolf felt thirsty. He went to a stream to quench his thirst. A lamb was also drinking water at the downstream. The wolf saw the lamb. It would make him a nice meal. His mouth watered. He wanted to eat it. He ran to the lamb and said, “Why are you making the water muddy? Don’t you see I am drinking water?” The lamb said. “Sir, the water is flowing from you to me. How can I make it dirty for you?”
The wolf wanted an excuse. He said, “why did you abuse me last year?” The poor lamb said, “I am only six months old. I was not born then.” The wolf became hot with anger. He said, “If it were not you. It must have been your brother or father.”
Saying these words, the wolf fell upon the lamb and ate it up.
Moral: Might is right. Or
Any excuse is good enough for a wicked person.
It was a sunny day during the summers. A wolf was walking by and felt thirsty. In order to quench his thirst, he went to the nearby downstream and drank the water. In the same downstream there was a lamb who was drinking water. Upon watching lamb drinking water, the wolf blamed lamb upon making the water muddy and not letting the wolf drink. The lamb answered that he is not making the water muddy as the water is flowing from him to the lamb. However, the wolf makes excuses and blames the lamb for abusing him last year. The poor lamb was just six months old and upon his statement, the wolf shifted the blame upon his father or bother. Upon declaring these words the wolf jumped over the lamb and ate him up. Therefore, the story clearly states the theme of might is right.
