  • The houses are lit with beautiful diyas or lamps, delicious sweets and savories are made, new dresses are worn by children and adults, firecrackers are burnt and enjoyed by children and youngsters, and gifts and delicacies are shared among friends and relatives.
  • Diwali is enjoyed with great fun and happiness by everyone. Lakshmi pooja will also be held in every household to pray Goddess Lakshmi for wealth and prosperity. This festival is being celebrated for five days starting from Dhanteras Day to Bhai Duj with the main festival day on the Amavasya or the new moon day.
