Indian constitution is the longest writen constitution in the world. Indian constituent assembly had 196 members after the partition of India and pakistan. It took 2 years 11 months 18 days to prepare our constitution. Our constitution has adopted extremely necessary features from the constitutions of France, Greece, USA and britain. our constitution was adopted in 26th november 1949. our constitution came force on 26 jan 1950.
