What is integrity? It refers to being good, truthful, honest and sincere -the values needed for every individual's mental development.
If you possess integrity, not only will you be able to live happily, but also earn the respect of others around you and create a dignified, healthy status for yourself in society.
This being said, if each and everyone person in the nation has this precious value in her or him, of course the nation will succeed in terms of equality, finance, politics and most importantly, morals.
So I firmly believe in the notion that integrity is needed for the prosperity of a nation.
But how to bring about this change? The answer lies in looking at ourselves critically. Introspecting. Realizing our mistakes and how to correct them. The basic effort to be made for promoting integrity is to eradicate corruption from the society. If proper rules, proper financial planning and equality to all is adopted, then no one would feel the need to steal money illegally.
But this is just one side.
Integrity also refers to believing in the right facts and stopping the wrong ones from spreading. If awareness about superstitions, and how they can be backed by a scientific region is spread among the masses, then the nation will develop on terms of religion.
By means of promoting integrity, each citizen will become responsible and strive for the correct cause. He or she will understand what to fight for, what to stop, and how to bring about an all round development of the country There will be an enrichment in every citizen's principles, morale, beliefs and thought process.
And why would this not to lead to economical and moral prosperity? Of course it will, because if each person realizes the importance of integrity and takes a step forward for its promotion, then a million step would surely make a difference.
