Answer:

Explanation:

The middle Himalayas or the small Himalaya (English: Lower Himalaya or Lesser Himalaya) is a category of Himalaya mountain system that is situated in the south of the Great Himalayas and north of the Shivalik range. It is known by regional names such as Dhauladhar ranges in Kumaon, Mahabharata category in Nepal etc. Doon salt valleys are found between Shivalik and the middle Himalayas. Between the middle Himalayas and the Great Himalayas, two major valleys are situated, the Kashmir valley in the west and Kathmandu valley in the east.
