I think that science is the basis of life.

Science is all around us, and we encounter science in many ways each day. We wake up with the sound of the alarm, which works on scientific principles. Next, we turn on the lights, which again boils down to science. Then we brush our teeth. Our concept of personal hygiene also comes from a scientific understanding of health. During the rest of the day, we eat, do various activities and use many gadgets and tools. Each of these things has a scientific background.

The bottom line is that science is an integral part of our lives. It plays an active role in so many aspects of our life, including hygiene, nutrition, fitness, work, transport, communication and even relaxation. We feel relaxed because of how our body deals with stress and how our nervous and skeletal systems respond to rest. This information too can be attributed to science. So, even if one is illiterate, science still has an undeniable effect on life. As for the educated people, they can understand the importance of science and appreciate it.
