Water crisis refers to the situation where the available water within a geographical location cannot meet the water needs of the population in that location. This prevalent situation has drawn considerable attention in most countries due to its severity to humanity.

Therefore, controlling the use of water in municipalities or having a national policy of water conservation would allow the world’s supply of freshwater to better sustain itself through rainfall and other methods. Conserving water also saves energy, and energy is needed to treat, transport, and heat freshwater. For water-saving programs to succeed, however, several things must be in place.

Hope it helps.
