It is true that everything works at a fast pace these days, due to the quick acc.ess. For example, you can con.tact someone who lives on the other side of the world within seconds. This is great if you think about how con.nected we can stay to the people who are far away from us.

It is also lazier and rude to prefer to tàlk to someone on your phóne rather than méeting up, if you are able to, in my opinion. Social skills are important to have and if you are not going to put effort into real-life communication, then you are not going to progress in this ability.

Hope this helps you!

A Day Without My Smartphone

  • It was a usual day with everything going all good. I came back from school, kept my bag aside and went straight into my room looking for my mobile. I had kept it on the table before leaving and I found it there itself. My mom was mopping the floor but I was so restless that I ran on the wet floor hatched my mobile and as soon as I turned, I sipped on the floor and dropped my phone! My mom helped me get up. I didn't get hurt but my phone broke. My mom scolded me for being so careless and absent-minded. I apologized for it was my mistake that I was athirst to get my mobile. My mom gave it for repairing and brought to my notice that it would take a day to restore it. I felt as everything would be ended up for a whole day as I was completely hooked on my phone. I went back to my room and thought about my phone all the time. But instead of sitting idle, I decided to keep myself busy with something as I keep myself busy everyday with mobile. I remembered , I had got homework from school. I completed my homework and thought of studying other subjects too as I had ample of time to spent. I got a little tired after studying so I decided to help my mom with the chores. My mom was surprised as I never asked to help her with the chores. We both spent the time chit-chatting as well as doing the chores. It was after so many days that I spent time with my mom talking and laughing and making memories to be stored in mind. After we were done with the chores, I went out for an evening walk in the park nearby. I walked around for sometime and sat on the swing admiring the green trees, hearing the harmony of birds and watching little children play happily. It feels so nice to spend our leisure time in the lap of nature! I came back home, had my dinner and at down for writing my journal. I realised that I was so much productive the whole day without my mobile phone. Mobile phones were made with the objective of decreasing our work and lending us a helping hand . but instead we make use of them most of the time unnecessarily. So, in conclusion, I would say that each thing has its own pros and cons. But we should take responsibility for our own actions and make the best use of everything.
