Helen keller was a great woman born in Tuscumbia on 27 June 1880 .She lost her ability to see and hear due to a mysterious disease in her childhood.The world became dark for her she used to have fits of temper. However all this changed with the arrival of her teacher Miss Anne Sullivan. She tought Helen the beauties of the nature ,various subjects like arithmetic,English.,history etc.Anne went everywhere along with Helen. During the 49 years they spend together Helen learned many things.Helen accomplished in becoming a great author.She died on 2 June 1968 at the age of 88

Hellen Keller was born on 27 June 1880 in a little town in Alabama the USA. In Feb 1882 a severe illness took away her sight and hearing. Although unable to see or hear she became the adviser to the American foundation for the blind and is known all over the world for her labour on behalf of the blind and the deaf.
