He can't see beyond 1.25 m
so, u = -infinity
and, v = 1.25m = 125 cm
so 1/f = 1/v - 1/u
1/f = 1/125 - 0
so , f = 125 cm
so, power = 100/f(in cm) = 100/125 = 4/5 = 0.8D
so, u = -infinity
and, v = 1.25m = 125 cm
so 1/f = 1/v - 1/u
1/f = 1/125 - 0
so , f = 125 cm
so, power = 100/f(in cm) = 100/125 = 4/5 = 0.8D
