I'll add a very common and heard example of the farmer who killed his pet mongoose thinking that it had killed his son only by seeing some blood on its face. Had he thought before killing him , it wouldn't have added to his regret. Therefore , it is very important to think and act . Doing anything in Haste just makes Waste as evident in the story .

Consider all possible outcomes , with a calm and composed mind before making any significant decision because one single decision can change your life .

Look Before you leap means that you just think twice before doing anything because in future it can harm you. So always think and then act because your actions cannot be reversed.
