The major aim is to become educated, affluent and active citizen of the world. However, to be a citizen of the world it calls for broader outlook, deep understanding and a true appreciation of other cultures. If we analyze and study their lives, we could see how their education interactions with others and writings have made them real and deserving citizens of the world. Therefore, reading and writing plays the most significant role on our life. A person reads for pleasure, for understanding or for improving his/her stock of knowledge.

Reading which is done in schools, colleges or professional institutions is only the basic one that’s why they show and guide what and where to look for. For examples, we can give a look at some of the specialists like- Doctors, Lawyers or Engineers cannot be content with what they have studied in their colleges. Unless, on the other hand if they will not study professional publications later they cannot be up to date and utilize their skills and hard-work.

For pleasure and time-pass we all read a lot in our own mother tongue and in other languages as well. It is truly conducted that the companionship of books is the best that one could look for and also one should have habit of reading. In reality, books may please you and never offend you. The reading may be light as a weekend magazine or it may be a master piece which gives you satisfaction and mode of relaxation.
