Good morning everyone present; I am going to give a brief talk on Communication Satellites and Development.
If I say the modern world is run by satellites, I am not exaggerating. You must be wondering HOW? Well, let me explain. Everything in the modern world is technology dependent. And the technology is dependent on Communication Satellites. All the banks, national or international trade, communication, internet, GPS, e-mails, digital transactions, almost everything is dependent on internet and tele-communication facilities and infra-structure. And satellites are the back-bone of this infrastructure. If all the satellites in the world stopped working, there would be a digital blackout. Owing to this digital black out the airplanes and ships will lose track of their routes; even monitoring satellites and other space missions will become impossible.
All the communication among nations of the world will get disrupted. All websites, social networking sirs, online transactions will be halted. The world will be in utter darkness in broad day light. Communication satellites play a very crucial role in the development of a nation. Owing to defense satellites the nations keep themselves safe and protected. All the advanced defense systems are operated by using communication satellites. Without them the nations will become vulnerable to many threats.
So, in conclusion it can be said without communication satellites, no development is possible in the modern world. How much a country is developed and safe depends upon the quality and advancement of communication satellites.
