The story has 5 young children as main characters – Julian, D.i.c.k, Anne, Georgina (George) and Timmy, George’s dog. The stories take place during the school holidays. Every time they met, they end up getting caught in an adventure involving lost treasure or criminals. The kids usually visit scenes like a hiking holiday, camping on the countryside, sea shores etc.
2. The Naughty Little Blacksmith is another short story from the “The Second Holiday book” series by Enid Blyton. The story is about the gnomes and pixies that live in the Comfy village. Only the people who can make themselves useful can settle down in that village. So, Tiggle, the protagonist of the story arrives there and makes everyone believe that he is a blacksmith, which he isn’t.
