In this poem, mainly the journey of the brook is shown. The brook here has been entirely personified. We know this as it is said to chatter loudly and how it slips and slides and dances in the sun. For when the it is said that men may come and men may go ,but I go on for ever. This symbolises the fact that the brook is eternal and everflowing while man is mortal and don't live for ever. There are several poetic devices.
One important question of this chapter is " Give examples in which the brook shows parallelism to human beings ."
