Answer:

since he discount 10 percent then the sp=7200 and give blender means he spend the in sp=7200-1200=6000

after selling he got profit of 20 percent

so,cp=(6000/120)×100=5000

therefore cp of per microwave =rs5000..

Answer:

C.P. = Rs.5000

Step-by-step explanation:

The market price is Rs. 8000.

Allows discount of 10%.

selling price = 8000- 10% of 8000

= 8000-800 = Rs. 7200

After 10% of discount the showroom gives a blender worth RS. 1200 as complementary.

The new Selling Price will be -

= 7200 - 1200 = Rs. 6000

By selling at Rs. 6000 the showroom earns 20% of profit.

So, 120% = 6000

100% = ?

Cross multiplication-

100x6000/120 = 5000

The cost price of microwave is Rs. 5000
