✔️ ( AC )^2 = ( AB )^2 + ( BC )^2
▶️ We know sides AB = BC = x ( isosceles triangle )
=> ( AC )^2 = ( AB )^2 + ( BC )^2
=> ( hypo. )^2 = ( x )^2 + ( x )^2
=> ( hypo. )^2 = 2 x ^2 +
=> hypo. = √ ( 2 . x^2 )
=> hypo. = x . √ 2
