Hey there !

Solution:

Given Information:

  • Forward Resistance = 13 Ω
  • Load Resistance = 220 Ω
  • Peak Value of Potential Difference = 24 V

To find:

  • Peak Value of Current

Illustration:

Net Resistance = Forward Resistance + Load Resistance

=> Net Resistance = 220 Ω + 13 Ω = 233 Ω

=> Potential Difference = 24 V

Applying Ohm's Law,

V = IR

=> I = V / R

=> I = 24 V / 233 Ω

=> I = 0.103 A

Hence the peak current value is 0.103 A or 103 mA.

Hope my answer helped !
