∴5.4 = 4.2 [ 1+α (100-27) ]

\frac{5.4}{4.2} = 1 + 73α

\frac{54}{42} - 1 = 73α

\frac{54-42}{42} = 73α

\frac{12}{42} = 73α

∴α = \frac{12}{42 X  73}

∴α = \frac{2}{511}

∴α = 0.00391  OR 3.91 x 10^{-3} / degree celsius
