Anjali: Hello Rahul!!! Kaise ho?

Anjali: Hello Rahul!! How are you?

Rahul: Main theek hoon. Tum kaisi ho?

Rahul: I am fine. How are you?

Anjali: Main bhi theek hoon. Kya hum aaj kahin ghoomne chlein?

Anjali: I am fine too. Today shall we go out somewhere?

Rahul: Haan kyon nhi? Chlo hum kahin khaana khane chlein.

Rahul: Yes, why not? Let’s go to eat.

Anjali: Haan, yeh theek rhega. Mujhe bhi bhookh lgi hai, Lekin kahan chlein?

Anjali: Yes, this is a good idea. I am feeling hungry too, but where shall we go?

Rahul: Chlo hum school ke paas vale restaurant me chlte hain, vahan se hum movie dekhne bhi ja sakte hain.

Rahul: Let’s go to the restaurant near the school, from there we can go for a movie too.

Anjali: Vah!! ye to bahut badhiya hai. Chlo hum baki doston ko bhi bula lein.

Anjali: Wow!! This is a good idea. Let’s call our other friends too.

Rahul: Sabhi sath honge to jyada mza aayega. Main kareem aur kusum ko bulaata hoon.

Rahul: The more the merrier. I will call Kareem and Kusum.

Anjali: Theek hai, main Kavita aur Rashmi ko bulati hoon. Hum thodi der me yahan hi milte hain phir sbhi sath chlenge.

Anjali: Fine, I will ask Kavita and Rashmi. We will meet here in a few and then we all will go together.

Rahul: Theek hai! hum 15 minute me milte hain.

Rahul: Alright! let’s meet in 15 minutes.

In the above conversation, you will notice that words in bold are actually English words. Hindi is a very dynamic language and few words have been adapted from English to make the language simpler.

The words in Italics distinguish between male and female gender. Words denoting male gender always end with ‘aa’ ‘आ’ and female gender ends with ‘ee’ ‘ई’.

Practicing conversation is such a good way to remember commonly used words and also to practice grammar. I hope this lesson was helpful. Keep practicing till the next lesson..

Hope this will help you.. ✌
