1) Frequency

=no of oscillations per second
                   
=40 oscillation /  60sec

=0.6667 Hz

2)Time period

=1/frequency
                     
=time taken for 1 oscillation  
                     
=time taken / No of oscillation

= 60/40

= 1.5 sec^⁻¹

(1) Frequency = oscillation/Time

Frequency = 40/60

Frequency = 2/3Hz

Frequency = 0.67 Hz

(2) Time period = Time/Oscillation

Time Period = 60/40

Time Period = 3/2sec

Time Period = 1.5sec
