A simple pendulum is having length is less than the second pendulum and a second pendulum starts swinging in aphase they again swing in a phase after an intervals of 18 sec from rest , then the period of simple pendulum will be 1.8 sec

  • As we know that ,   \frac{1}{T} =\frac{1}{T1}-\frac{1}{T2} , where T1 is 2 sec and T2 is time period for simple pendulum.
  • According to question, T= 18 sec and T1 = 2 sec
  • Putting Values in the equation ,

                                       We get T2 = 1.8 sec
