A simple pendulum is hollow from within and its time period is T. How is the time period of simple pendulum affected when half of the bob is filled with sand.

the time period of a simple pendulum doesn't depends on it's mass ,so either you fill 1/4 or 3/4 of the Bob with Mercury,the time period will remain same. infact the time period of a simple pendulum only depends on the length of it's string and the force of gravity.
