A simple pendulum makes 30 oscillations in 60 seconds. What is the time period and

frequency of its oscillation?

Answer

Given,

\rightarrow The pendulum makes 30 oscillations in 60 seconds.

So,

In 1 second , the pendulum will make 30/60 =  \frac{1}{2} oscillations.

\because The frequency is 2 Hertz [{as frequency refers to the number of oscillations per second}.

Then,

Time period = \frac{1}{Frequency}

Time period = \frac{1}{2}

Time period = 0.5 second

0.5 Second is the time period and frequency of its oscillation
