No. of oscillations = 5
Time taken to Complete it = 10 seconds

Therefore,
Time Period = total time taken / no.
of oscillations
= 10/5 seconds
= 2 seconds
Hope it helps.......

Answer:

Explanation:

Given,

A simple pendulum takes 10 seconds to complete 5 oscillations

To find

The time period of the pendulum

Recall the concept

The time period is the time taken to complete one oscillation.

Time period = \frac{Time \ taken\  to \ complete \ 'n' \ oscillations}{n}

Solution

we have,

Time period = \frac{Time \ taken\  to \ complete \ 'n' \ oscillations}{n}

Here n =  5

and time is taken to complete 5 oscillations = 10

Substituting these values,

Time period = \frac{10}{5} =  2 seconds

The time period of the pendulum  = 2 seconds
