Solution - Firstly we will calculate the time taken for the occurence of one oscillation.

So, time taken for one oscillation = 40/424

Time taken for one oscillation = 0.09 seconds

Now, one oscillation completes in 0.09 seconds

So, 1166 oscillations will complete in = 0.09*1166

Time taken for 1166 oscillations = 110 seconds.

Therefore, the time taken to complete 1166 oscillations is 110 seconds.
