W = Wo - B     apparent weight of pendulum in liquid

So the pendulum experiences an apparent gravitational acceleration of      7 g / 8

Since the period of the pendulum is given by

T = 2 pi * (L/g)^1/2

T / To = (g / (7 g / 8))^1/2 = (8 / 7)^1/2
