yes this statement is correct because for instance amoeba is also a single celled organism performs all the necessary life processes with the help of vacoules and pseudopodia ....

  • Justifying-

Single celled organisms perform various life processes needed for the sustenance of their life by using their specialized cell organelles. These organelles act in the similar manner as the tissues and organ systems found in multicellular organisms to carry out these life processes.

Life processes in unicellular organisms does not involve division of labour at the cellular level while in multicellular organisms there is division of labour at cellular level. At the sub-cellular level, life process is generally the same for both unicellular and multicellular organisms (eukaryotic).
