A single phase distributor 3 km long supplies a load of 160 A at 0.7 power factor lagging at its far end and a load of 100 A at 0.85 power factor lagging at its mid point. Both power factors are referred to the voltage at the far end. The overall resistance and reactance are 0.05 km and 0.2 2 km respectively. If the voltage at the far end is maintained at 230 V. calculate the sending end voltage and phase angle between the voltages at the two ends.
