A single phase fully controlled bridge converter supplies a load drawing constant and ripple free load current.

The input power factor is given by,
I.P_f=\bf{0.9cos\alpha}

where \alpha is the triggering angle .

here it is given that, \alpha=30^{\circ}

so, input power factor = 0.9cos30°

= 0.9 × √3/2

= 0.45 × 1.732 [ as √3 = 1.732 ]

= 0.7794

hence, input power factor will be 0.7794
