Step-by-step explanation:

If we rolled a die than the probability of getting no. are: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.

=>Total favourable of die = 6

so, in first case;

(i) getting an odd no.

total odd no. between 1 to 6.

are= 3.

p(e) =  \frac{total \: outcomes}{total \: favourable}

Now, putting on the formula,

p(e) =  \frac{3}{6}

here \: we \: get =  \frac{1}{2}

now in the second case;

(ii) getting a prime number.

Total prime no. between 1 to 6 are: 2, 3 and 5.

Total favourable = 6

p(e) =  \frac{total \: outcomes}{total \: favorable}

now, putting on formula;

p(e) =  \frac{3}{6}

we get,

p(e) =  \frac{1}{2}

HERE, GETTING A PRIME NO. = 1/2.

NOW, GETTING AN ODD NO. = 1/2.

HOPE YOU FIND IT HELPFUL.
