using sine rule of properties of triangle to find distance between home and school.

as it is given , distance between home and school is x.

so, from sine rule,

\frac{sinA}{a}=\frac{sinB}{b}=\frac{sinC}{c}

where A, B and C are the angles of triangle and a, b and c are corresponding sides of triangle.

now, sin110°/6miles = sin50°/x

or, x = 6sin50°/sin110°

hence, distance between home and school is \frac{6sin50^{\circ}}{sin110^{\circ}} miles.

Answer:

6 sine 50 degrees option A /

Step-by-step explanation:

Distance X:  5  miles

solution: Now using sine formula

  sin110°/6miles = sin50°/x

x = 6sin50°/sin110°

Better way::

Substituting ,

we now have,

When you have the triangle of her school you add your first to angles together and subtract from 180. Then you are going to set is up as law of sine. So the order would be 6/sin110* = x/sin50*

Solving for x,

Hope this helps <3
