The slave in order to save his life entered a cave. There he saw a lion roaring in pain as his paw was swollen due to thorn. The slave took pity on him and removed the thorn from his paw. Soon they became friends.
By the time the soldiers reached the slave and arrested him. The king ordered the soldiers to throw him to a hungry lion as a punishment.
The lion was brought to the cage and the slave was thrown into the cage. It was the same lion whom the slave had helped. The lion recognised him immediately and remembered the kindness shown by the slave. The lion started licking the slave’s feet.
The king was astonished. Then the slave explained him the whole story. The king was happy with the behaviour of the slave. So then instead of punishing him he set him free.
