Answer:

Given:

⇒l=30,b=25,h=25

(i) Total S.A of green house

=2(lb+bh+lb)

=2(30×25+30×25+25×25)

=4250 cm

2

(ii) For 12 edges: Total length

=4l+4b+4h

=4(30+25+25)

=320 cm

Given:-

  • l = 30 cm
  • b = 25 cm
  • h = 25 cm

 \sf \: ➊ \:  Total  \: surface \:  area  \: of \:  greenhouse

 \sf \: Area  \: of  \: the \:  glass = 2[lb+lh+bh]

 \sf \longrightarrow \: [2(30×25+30×25+25×25)]

 \sf \longrightarrow \: [2(750+750+625)]

 \sf \longrightarrow \: (2×2125)

 \sf \longrightarrow \: 4250 \:  {cm}^{2}

Total surface area of the glass is 4250 cm².

 \sf \: ➋ Area  \: of  \: 12  \: glass = 4(l+b+h)

 \sf \longrightarrow \: [4(30+25+25)]

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ(after substituting the values)

\sf \longrightarrow 320 \:  {cm}^{2}

ㅤㅤ

Therefore, 320 cm tape is required for all the 12 edges.
