Answer:

A Line-storm Song'

The line-storm clouds fly tattered and swift,

The road is forlorn all day,

Where a myriad snowy quartz stones lift,

And the hoof-prints vanish away.

The roadside flowers, too wet for the bee,

Expend their bloom in vain.

Come over the hills and far with me,

And be my love in the rain.

2)))  Be still, sad heart! and cease repining;

Behind the clouds is the sun still shining;

Thy fate is the common fate of all,

Into each life some rain must fall,

Before the Rain by Thomas Bailey Aldrich

We knew it would rain, for all the morn,

A spirit on slender ropes of mist

Was lowering its golden buckets down

Into the vapory amethyst
